The first visit usually lasts one to two hours. During the visit, the practitioner will review the client’s medical history and attempt to elicit a full picture of the client’s symptoms—mental, emotional, and physical. A homeopathic or herbal recommendations will be chosen to match the client’s symptom profile. Scheduling a follow-up visits will vary depending on the needs of the individual; intervals of four to six weeks are typical. A follow-up visit normally lasts 20-45 minutes. The cost of a first visit to a homeopath/herbalist varies depending on the skills and experience of the practitioner and the area of the country in which you live.
